We braved the sweltering heat on the London underground yesterday and tubed it down to Piccadilly Circus to see the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. It was gloriously cool and air conditioned in the galleries and we spent ages studying the paintings, sculptures, photos and videos. I particularly loved Donald Hamilton Fraser's large oil paintings and Chris Orr's limited edition prints.
