Very excitingly I've just received this gorgeous print I ordered from fabulous online shop Winter's Moon which Dee Beale mentioned recently on her blog. They stock really lovely retro items. http://www.wintersmoon.bigcartel.com/products
T'is the season of trade fairs and today I was walking round the Progressive Greetings Live event at the Business Design Centre in London. It was great to catch up with our suppliers and meet new faces. I struggled back laden with new brochures and samples. If there was a prize for brochures, it would probably go to Glebe Cottage's lovely catalogue- see image. Glebe Cottage design beautiful high-quality eco-friendly greeting cards.
Back at work now after a great few days in New York, where we attended the National Stationery Show, a fantastic gathering of the most fabulous stationery brands on the market. We've returned to the UK bursting with new plans for the future- watch this space! In the meantime, here are some photos taken during a stroll through the uber cool Meat Packing district in NY.
Mandy Sutcliffe from Belle and Boo designed the lovely Belle and Boo greeting cards which we stock here at Papergrain and she's just launched these gorgeous new prints for little boys. A perfect gift for friends who have just had a baby boy. Check out Mandy's website http://www.belleandboo.com/index.php?osCsid=03a4396a1a2dc52d236c2ad1db98e81e
The Wedding Season is now truly upon us so I thought it would be fun to feature our wedding cards together- we have added so many new designs in recent months.
Really enjoying Kirstie Allsop's new series on Channel 4 which showcases the work of craftspeople across the UK. Last night, she featured gorgeous rugs made by Hilary Charlesworth of totallytextiles.co.uk.
We really can't get enough of Nila Aye's work. You can see her greeting cards on our online shop and while browsing on her website, we came across this illustration which really struck a chord with us!
Lisa Jones, one of our favourite greeting card designers, has created these fabulous children's T.shirts for hip shop Bob and Blossom- how cute! You can buy them from http://www.bobandblossom.com/
I have just finished reading this wonderful memoir by Chris Wadsworth who runs the Castlegate Art Gallery in Cumbria. It's an engaging and beautifully written account of the joys and challenges she has experienced over the last 25 years.
